I found the hotel to be a mixed experience. The rooms were clean and nicely arranged, but the musty smell and somewhat hard bed were a downside. Additionally, the low volume TV and squeaky closet door in our room were a bit bothersome. The outdated and poorly situated bathroom didn’t meet expectations.
When I arrived, the hotel had a strong smell and was not very clean, which unfortunately lingered throughout the night. On the positive side, the room had a king bed and a pull-out couch. The service was a mix of rudeness, with instances of staff walking in without knocking, and politeness. The location was convenient, being close to eateries and strategic areas in Birmingham, but the surroundings were not the most appealing. The dining experience exceeded my expectations in terms of preparation and temperature of the meals, although I wished for more dining options in the break room. Overall, the facilities were okay, and the price may not align with the value offered.
The hotel offered rooms at a great price of $2 per run per machine but they were dated and not the cleanest. However, the service was exceptional, making us feel very welcome from the start. The location was wonderful and convenient, but there were some issues with noise and the entrance. The dining experience was average, and the facilities were fair overall.
